Presentation Policy

North Kessock Primary School Presentation Policy
August 2012

The teaching staff have collaborated to agree on our joint expectations for written work.  All written work will contain a date which is underlined with a ruler in addition to the learning intention. A title will be included if required.  There should also be evidence of self-assessment on all written tasks.

For writing and maths which is often completed in jotters our expectations are more prescriptive:

  • Ø The date should be written on the top left hand of the page and underlined with a ruler.
  • Ø The learning intention will be recorded.

  • Ø The success criteria will be included. The success criteria will be created with/by the children and it will provide the pupils with a list of what they must do to achieve success in their task.
